In 1990 the Texas Glass Association was formed to represent professionalism in the Texas Glass Industry. TGA offers professional development, networking, legislative representation, and member discounts through TGA, and NGA, the National Glass Association.
TGA has two area divisions, the Texas Glass Association North Texas Division and the Houston Area Glass Association. Both divisions hold quarterly dinner meetings and provide informative speakers on relevant topics.
TGA hosts TEXPo the best little Trade Show in Texas. The next TEXpo will will be held in San Antonio, April 2012. It will be hosted at the El Tropicana Hotel Riverwalk.
On April 11, 2012 the TGA Golf Open will be held at SilverHorn Golf Course in San Antonio. This is a charity fund raiser for the fire and drought victims in Central Texas.
